This paper seeks to analyze the legislative framework governing the utilization of technical means for remote trials in criminal proceedings, with a specific focus on assessing the provision of legal safeguards both generally and with particular regard to juveniles. It aims to evaluate the adequacy of existing legislation in ensuring these safeguards during remote trial procedures involving juveniles and to identify any necessary legislative amendments to enhance such guarantees. Furthermore, this analysis endeavors to propose recommendations that prioritize the best interests of juveniles. By aligning with the overarching goals of the justice sector, including expediting litigation processes and ensuring timely dispensation of justice, these recommendations aim to contribute to the realization of justice and fairness in the legal system.
