The ,#دستور_8 campaign is dedicated to promoting awareness of pre-trial guarantees, rights, and responsibilities among both public security personnel and individuals involved in cases of arrest and detention in security centers. Article 8 of the Jordanian Constitution clearly outlines these principles: “Anyone who is arrested, detained, imprisoned, or has their freedom restricted must be treated in a manner that upholds human dignity. They shall not be subjected to any form of torture, physical or mental harm”. Through this campaign, we aim to ensure that these constitutional rights are upheld and respected across all levels of law enforcement and detention facilities.
